MEC’s Head of Mobile Jide Sobo selected to join the UK MMA Board

MEC’s Head of Mobile, Jide Sobo has been chosen to join the UK Board of Directors for Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), the leading global trade association for the mobile industry.

The board is drawn from the marketer, agency, media owner, tech enabler, research and Telco communities representing mobile interests within the UK. The MMA’s mission is to accelerate the transformation and innovation of marketing through mobile, driving business growth with closer and stronger consumer engagement.

Jide will serve a one-year term with immediate effect.

Commenting on the appointment, Jide said “I am delighted to be chosen to join the MMA’s UK Board of Directors. The appointment highlights MEC’s continued commitment in providing first-class mobile solutions to our clients. I look forward to joining other leaders within the industry as we look to better understand and maximise the value of mobile marketing over the coming year.”
